How to "install" windows phone on Samsung Galaxy S2

Windoooooooos 8 ! Yes, indeed. You have an Samsung galaxy S2 and you wanna` try something new? Well, this is not a boring comercial :) this is some kind of tutorial, that is gonna` show you and teach you how to make your S2 look like (and feel like) it`s running windows 8.

So, let`s begin guys.

<<Sharing is caring guys so show a little love by sharing this post to the other android geeks like you. Thank you !>>

We looove android because it`s according us complete freedom on customization, nice features and speed. We can make the interface look however we desire and even if there are opposite opinions from the Apple fan boys =) that are barking as if that boring and old Iphone OS is the best, well, we all know that it isn`t. Our loved little green robot can do a lot more !

So, to continue the topic of this article, how can we make our S2 run windows phone ? It`s pretty simple.

First, search and download from google play something called launcher 8 . Here is a screenshot.

Install it and set it as your default launcher. Then search for metro messaging beta. If you want a true windows phone experience, you can`t be satisfied just with a launcher. So, another screenshot:

After this, you need to search and install WP7Contact. It will make your contacts look like this:

As you can see, you`ll have a dialer also.

If you accomplish everything, you`re almoust done. Now you need to setup the launcher8, better said, the tiles from the launcher8 in order that they will bring you up the alternative applications, that you installed earlier, and not the default ones.

Go to homescreen, hit menu then go to settings, then applications, then slide to the left until you reach All aplications then look for messaging or messages, click it and hit dezactivate. This way, you`ll receive notifications only from the metro messaging beta. Maybe you`re thinking that there is an option in the messages that you can dezactivate notifications, but there can be conflicts between apps and you can receive or send two or three identical messages. =)

Ook, now go to the launcher8 homescreen, keep holding your finger on the dialer tile, hit the first circle, the one with a pen, then look for bind application, then select and set wpDialer from the list.

You`ll repeat this process with the message tile, and also the contacts and you will select metro messaging and wpContacts.

Optionally, if you don`t like the icons from the apps list, you can hit menu then app settings the AppList icon alpha and you will select 100% transparency. This way, the icons will be gone, and you`re going to have a nice and clear app list.

The lockscreen looks also nice, true windows 8 experience. :)

So, here you have your tutorial, I`ll post bellow some more screenshots. Ba bye.
